This camera is wonderful! Works as a charm and has many, many options that can be very useful at all times. Im an semi pro photographer and this camera is excellent for me, heavy work most of the time. Its fast, easy to use, responds great to all the commands. The menu screen is very easy to use.
Image quality is excellent, very crisp, clear and brilliant, even at very high ISO (1600 and above). Anyway, you must keep in mind that as important as the camera, the lens you choose is. With this very same camera but a crappy lens the images could be disappointing, so try to get a good lens before you cant talk about the camera.
The swivel screen was a key point when I made my choice and it's a wonderful feature once you try to take pictures in awkward positions.
Battery life is better than I expected.
I dont regret at all to had choose this one over the 7D. Same resolution, same video capacity and it has the plus of the swivel screen for less money.
I recommend this camera a lot, but be sure to get good lenses (this goes for all cameras as well)
